Dr. des. Marius Baumann

Short Bio/Kurzbiographie

Marius Baumann ist seit Wintersemester 18/19 wissenschaftlicher Assistent am Lehrstuhl V. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der normativen Ethik, der Metaethik sowie der politischen Philosophie. In seiner Dissertation verteidigte er die These, dass normative Moraltheorien durch unsere deontischen Urteile unterbestimmt sein können, ebenso wie wissenschaftliche Theorien durch die Daten unterbestimmt sein können.

Marius erhielt seinen Bachelor in Philosophie und Deutscher Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft 2012 von der Universität Zürich und seinen Master in Political, Legal, and Economic Philosophy 2014 von der Universität Bern. 2018 verteidigte er seine Dissertation (summa cum laude) an der Universität Bern. Während der Dissertation verbrachte er Zeit als Research Fellow an der Brown University (USA) und der Reading University (UK).
