Aristotle: Physics III-IV

We will explore Aristotle's Physids III & IV, which investigate basic concepts of his natural philosophy, such as change, time, and place. Discussion and most readings will be in English. Participants are expected to undertake one presentation. We will regularly read secondary literature alongside the primary text. An optional 2-hour session in which we read the text in the original language will be held immediately after.
Knowledge of Greek is not required for the seminar.
Voraussetzungen: Grundkenntnisse in der antiken Philosophie
Leistungsnachweis For credit, students must submit a term paper (Hausarbeit).
