Short Biography

Georgia Eleni obtained her Bachelors degree in Pyschology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. After specializing in the fields of cognitive and experimental pyschology, she moved to Umea, Sweden to puruse a double masters in Pyschology and Cognitive Science. During her studies she interned at the Zurich Center for Neuroeconomics (UZH) and she graduated defending her thesis on the extinction of Pavlovian biases in decision making. Post graduation, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich, where she explored topics on empathy, time perspective and strategic decision making. Currently, she is pursuing her PHD in the Graduate School for Systemic Neurosciences focusing on the neural basis of self-control in value-based decision making.
